Cup Crazy

I've been pretty Cup Crazy lately with the Stanley Cup Playoffs and all. At the beginning of the season I named my 4 favorite players for the season. They were Ilya Kovalchuk, Martin Havlat, Evgeni Malkin and Anze Kopitar. All of them were on playoff teams, unfortunately Havlat and Malkin had to go in the first round. That leaves Kovalchuk and Kopitar. For that reason I'm going to be cheering for a Devils v. Kings Stanley Cup final.

Rangers v. Devils

On Tuesday I went with my buddy Matt Johnson to the Rangers v. Devils game at MSG. Being that Matt's a hardcore Rangers fan, and I've been becoming a Devils fan since the acquisition of Ilya Kovalchuk, it was a perfect game to go to. Surprisingly it was my first live NHL game of the year.

It was fun. Marty blanked the Blue Shirts and there were many angry fans on the way out of MSG.
